But people requested that its a tree with thorn, GURU SAHIB asked people which tree they wanted, People asked for some fruit tree and then SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI blessed this place that there will be fruit on this tree for whole of year. This kikkar tree is situated in the campus. SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI also came at this place for his son Baba Gurdita Ji's marriage. He got eight cornered well digged, which is situated in the front of Gate of Gurudwara Sahib.
